IND vs PAK | Ahead of Sunday's match against India, Pakistan has suffered a major setback. Team's fast bowler Shahnawaz has been ruled out of the match against Team India in Super-4 due to injury. Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for the India vs Pakistan clash in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup 2022 following an injury. The fast bowler will miss this match due to a side strain and will be monitored by the medical team for the next 2-3 days.

"Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for Sunday's Asia Cup Super-4 match against India due to a suspected side strain," the PCB said in a statement. He got injured while bowling in the match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday.

"As is the case with any suspected side strain injury, the medical team will monitor them for the next 48-72 hours, after which they will take a decision including a scan and further participation in the tournament," he added.

Pakistan is already in trouble with several players getting injured. Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr were ruled out of the tournament due to injuries. Both these players got injured before the start of the tournament.
