He has gone to meet his family and the team management has given him a short break. Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has joined the team as a replacement for Bumrah for the second ODI. Mukesh Kumar has debuted for Team India in all three formats this year. This series being played against Australia is considered very important for the preparations for the ODI World Cup.

Bumrah will join the team on this day

Bumrah will join the team for the last ODI against Australia in Rajkot. BCCI has also given this information on X. The third ODI match between the two teams will be played on 27 September. Many senior players of Team India will also return in this match. In which the names of many big players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli are included. Some senior players were given rest for the first two matches of this series. BCCI and selectors had taken this decision due to workforce management.
