WTC Final / Team India members enjoyed a game of dart during the rain break in Southampton

WTC Final | The final match of the ICC World Test Championship was to be played between India and New Zealand in Southampton from today. The first day's play has been washed out due to rain. The umpires took this decision after inspecting the ground. The toss could not even be held on the first day due to rain. June 23 has been kept as the reserve day for this match. So it is expected that the first day will be compensated. Team India's players were seen doing time pass amid the rain in Southampton.

The BCCI shared a video of the Indian members playing darts after the first day's match was washed out. The BCCI tweeted and wrote that when the rain did not stop, the members of Team India enjoyed a game of dart during the rain break in Southampton. It is worth noting that after the first day's play has been washed, the match will be played on Saturday from 3 pm India's time. Fans were waiting for this test match for a long time but they were disappointed.

The BCCI on Thursday evening announced Team India's playing XI for the WTC final against New Zealand. Both Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been fed in the Indian team. On the other hand, Mohammad Siraj has not got a place in the playing XI. He had performed brilliantly against Australia but was replaced by Ishant Sharma in the team. Ishant Sharma has played 101 test matches for India. He got the benefit of the experience.
