Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinay Vishwakarma said that the accused arrested on Monday night from Dwarkapuri area during a joint raid conducted with the help of the Anti-Crime Branch of the police has been identified as Vishal Mehta.

Police suspect that the 1.25 kg gold recovered from Mehta's possession has been smuggled to India from abroad. Now the police is going to give information about this matter to DRI and Income Tax Department.
