Seeing the uproar, the police was called on the spot. When the police arrived, the miscreants attacked Narayanpur SP Sadanand Kumar. His head is split. At the same time, many policemen including the station in-charge were also injured in the stone pelting.

Furious mob attacked policemen

According to information in the media, people of the Christian community were holding a meeting on Sunday in Gorra, a dependent village of Edka Gram Panchayat. During this, he had a dispute with the tribals regarding conversion. During this there was a lot of fighting. When the policemen reached to pacify the matter, they were also attacked. After this ruckus, the tribal community had called a bandh on Monday. Taking the matter seriously, the police force was deployed in the area since morning in the security system.

The tribal community called off

It is being told that the bandh called by the tribals was going on peacefully when suddenly the protesters turned violent. They attacked the church. They started vandalizing there. Seeing this, the policemen present there reached to pacify them. Then the mob attacked him too. Stones were pelted and lathis and sticks started. SP Sadanand Kumar was seriously injured in this. He was taken to the hospital, where his head was stitched.

On the other hand, SP Sadanand Kumar, who was injured in this attack, said that some people from the tribal community had gone to attack the church in Bengalpara area. In which some people attacked me during the violence. He told that the matter will be investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
