COP33 Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone to Dubai to participate in the World Climate Action Summit. Addressing top leaders from around the world at the COP-28 program today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed to host the COP33 summit in India in the year 2028. PM Modi said, "India is committed to the United Nations Framework for Climate Change process. That is why from this platform, I propose to host the COP33 summit in India in 2028."

At the inauguration of the COP28 high-level segment, PM Modi said, "I express my gratitude to all of you for your continued support to the issues raised by me like climate justice, climate finance and green credit. With the efforts of all of us, this The belief has increased that for the welfare of the world, it is necessary to protect everyone's interests, everyone's participation is necessary."

In this program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "India, during its G20 presidency, has given continuous importance to the topic of climate with the spirit of One Earth, One Family, One Future. For a sustainable future, we together agreed on the Green Development Pact. "We created lifestyle principles for sustainable development, we committed to 3% renewable energy globally."

India has set a great example for the world – PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi said, "Today India has presented to the world an excellent example of the balance between ecology and economy. India is home to 17% of the world's population, yet its contribution to global carbon emissions is less than 4%. India is one of the few economies in the world that is on track to meet the NDC targets."
