Sri Lankan team all-rounder Thisara Perera has created history for his country. Yes, Thisara Perera has become the first Sri Lankan batsman to hit six sixes in an over in any format of professional cricket. According to a report by Cricinfo, Perera achieved this feat in the Major Clubs Limited Over List A tournament released at the military ground in Panagoda here on Sunday. He scored an unbeaten innings of 52 off 13 balls and also made the record for making the fastest half-century in List A cricket. He hit a total of eight sixes in his innings, which is also the second fastest half-century in List A of a Sri Lankan batsman.
