According to the CBFC's official report, only two major changes were made before the film was approved:

Cuts in the lip-lock scene: The film included a lip-lock scene between Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, the duration of which the examining committee directed to be reduced by 60%. The scene was relatively long in the original cut, but the CBFC requested its shortening, a common practice in family dramas and romantic films.

The word 'guard' has been muted: Instructions have been given to mute the word 'guard' wherever it is used in the film. While the context of this word has not been clarified, it is believed to be part of a double-meaning joke or dialogue. Furthermore, the makers have also been instructed to add a standard anti-alcohol warning slate to the film.

After implementing these changes, Sunny Sanskari's Tulsi Kumari has officially received a U/A 13+ certificate.
