To stop the Coronavirus, it is necessary to stop the crowd.

There will be no rally till January 15

There is a special thing in this election that along with the announcement of the election, the Election Commission has directed that there will be no party rally or road show till January 15. This instruction has been given for the purpose of prevention of corona but many opposition parties are not happy with it.

Controversy started on the instructions of virtual rally

In view of the threat of corona infection, the Election Commission has banned political rallies till January 15. After this, the Election Commission will review the situation and then it will be decided whether to allow further rallies and road shows. The Election Commission has asked political parties to conduct virtual rallies and campaigns, but on this decision of the Election Commission, the political turmoil has started.

Akhilesh Yadav made this demand

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP is strong on the digital front but many parties are not so strong. Therefore, the Election Commission should provide funds to such parties.

Akhilesh Yadav said that I demand from the Election Commission to fund political parties if digital campaign is to be done because BJP has a big digital weapon. The Election Commission should help the parties which do not have such a strong digital infrastructure. BJP has got a lot of funds in digital. We are not in favor of online voting. Even if it takes two days to have physical voting.

In a special conversation with Zee Media, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that BJP will run its election campaign following the instructions of the Election Commission.

By the way, not only the Samajwadi Party, some other opposition parties have also raised questions on the instructions of the Election Commission to hold a virtual rally. Politics has its place, but preventing corona infection is the biggest priority and that is why the Election Commission has banned election rallies and road shows.
