IND vs NZ WTC Final 2021: The first day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final match between India and New Zealand at the Rose Bowl was washed out due to rain. Even though not a single ball game was played today due to rain, but still this match will be played for five days from tomorrow.

Actually, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had kept a reserve day for this historic match. In such a situation, even after the first day was washed away in rain, this match will be played for five days from tomorrow.

Toss will happen tomorrow

The toss of this match could not even take place due to rain in Southampton today. In such a situation, now there will be a toss tomorrow. However, the Indian team had announced its playing XI a day before this match. But if India wants, then they can make changes in their team now. Because according to the rules, any team can change its playing XI before the toss.

India has given place to two spinners in its team. Off-spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are both part of the last eleven in this historic encounter. Apart from this, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah have been given a chance as fast bowlers. On the other hand, New Zealand have not yet announced their playing XI.

Prior to this match, New Zealand had recently defeated England 1-0 in the two-match Test series, while the Indian team did not even get a chance to play a warm-up match before the title match.
