Uttar Pradesh | In its second term, the Yogi government has given a big gift to the state employees. Keeping in mind the wider interest of thousands of employees of the state, CM Yogi has decided to increase the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief from 31% to 34% from January 2022. Dearness allowance to those who are government employees and dearness relief to retired employees has been given. Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) of UP government employees and pensioners have been increased with effect from January 1, 2022, so everyone will also get arrears. According to the order, arrears for a total of six months from January to June will also come in August along with the increased salary and pension of July.

In January, the allowance of the employees of cooperative sugarcane societies was increased

In January this year, the UP government had increased the dearness allowance of the cooperative sugarcane societies of the state. Sanjay R. Bhusreddy, Additional Chief Secretary, Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Department, had told that there was a constant demand from the state government to increase the dearness allowance from the employees of cooperative cane societies. Taking cognizance of this demand of the employees, it was decided that the employees of cooperative sugarcane societies where the seventh pay scale has been approved have been sanctioned the increased installment of dearness allowance.
