The most talked-about reality show on television, Bigg Boss 20, is all set to entertain the audience once again. Hosted by the charismatic Salman Khan, the show is scheduled to kick off with a grand premiere on Sunday, September 6. This season, the show has adopted the intriguing theme of Vardaan, which has already sparked significant curiosity among fans. While the list of contestants remains a hot topic of discussion, the newly designed house has stolen the spotlight. For nearly 19 years, the Bigg Boss house was synonymous with the creative vision of designer Omang Kumar. However, this season marks a significant shift as designer Varsha Jain has taken over the responsibility of creating this iconic set.

A Massive 10000 Square Feet Arena with 104 Cameras

The Bigg Boss 20 house is a sprawling architectural marvel covering approximately 10000 square feet. To ensure that every movement and whisper of the contestants is captured, a total of 104 cameras have been strategically installed throughout the premises. The design philosophy this year leans towards a minimal aesthetic while incorporating diverse elements inspired by animals and various creatures. Varsha Jain, who has previously designed sets for several seasons of Bigg Boss in South Indian languages and Anil Kapoor show India Top 1 Percent, brings a fresh perspective to the Hindi version of the show. This project is considered a major milestone in her professional career.

Garden Area Featuring Shark Pool and Gorilla Entry

The garden area is one of the most striking parts of the house this season. It features a swimming pool designed around a shark theme, surrounded by captivating decorative elements. A floral tap near the pool immediately catches the eye, while a large gorilla figure stands guard over the entrance to the bathroom. In another corner, a snake-like structure is coiled around a tree, serving as a unique seating arrangement for the contestants. On top of that, a statue of a ringmaster has been placed in the garden, while to enter the living area, contestants must pass through the legs of this imposing statue, adding a theatrical touch to their daily movements.

Drama Centered in the Living Room

The living room has always been the heart of the Bigg Boss house, where most of the drama unfolds. This year, it has been designed with several unique features. While there is a standard sofa for casual seating, the room also houses a large dining table capable of seating 12 people. Behind the dining area, a massive parachute has been installed, which also serves as a seating spot. A standout feature is a large pink teapot that appears to be pouring hot chocolate, designed in the shape of a throne. Also, messages hanging above the television set provide a distinct emotional touch to the environment.

Mysteries of Room No. 20 and Room 2X

This season introduces Room No. 20, which is set to replace the assembly room from previous seasons. The contents and purpose of this room remain a secret for now, with reports suggesting that its mysteries will only be revealed a few weeks after the show begins. Another intriguing addition is Room 2X, which features two doors—one of standard size and another much smaller door. The secrets hidden behind these doors are expected to be unveiled during the grand premiere. Sources suggest that Room 2X might be linked to a game element called Jeevandan. In this segment, contestants might be placed in pressurized pods and asked to make significant confessions or reveal truths. Successfully navigating this challenge could grant contestants an extra lifeline in the game.

Food Truck Kitchen and Relaxing Bedroom

The kitchen area has been designed with a food truck theme, although it isn't a functional vehicle. The kitchen table is fitted with two wheels underneath, and a banner reading BB Food Truck hangs above it. In contrast, the bedroom has been designed to offer a more relaxing atmosphere. It contains beds for 17 contestants, with a sofa placed in the center. The decor includes motifs of scorpions and chameleons, while mushroom-like shapes emerge from the walls. The bathroom area remains relatively simple this season, featuring an upside-down pink rabbit figure, sofas, and two chimpanzees hanging from above. Overall, the Bigg Boss 20 house appears vastly different from previous seasons, and it will be interesting to see how the contestants navigate this unique environment and the Vardaan theme.
