The Controversial Statement in Chennai

The controversy erupted following Mallikarjun Kharge's speech in Chennai. Questioning the association between AIADMK and the BJP, Kharge had said, "How can these people (AIADMK) associate with Modi? He's a terrorist, while he doesn't believe in equality. His party doesn't believe in equality and justice. " This statement triggered immediate backlash from the ruling party, which viewed it as an insult to the office of the Prime Minister.

Piyush Goyal Demands Apology from Rahul Gandhi and MK Stalin

Union Minister and Tamil Nadu election in-charge Piyush Goyal expressed deep resentment over the remarks. They're using and misusing institutions like the CBI, ED, and Income Tax Department, while " He clarified that he never meant PM Modi is a terrorist but intended to highlight how the government uses these agencies to intimidate people.
