America : At least six people were killed and 24 were injured in a shooting during the Independence Day parade near Highland Park in the US city of Chicago on Monday. Police gave this information. A Sun Times correspondent said he had seen some blood-soaked bodies covered in blankets. Several eyewitnesses told the newspaper that they had heard gunshots.
