All India Students Association (AISA) President Neha Bora has been released by Delhi Police. She was detained by the police on Friday evening during a tricolor march. Meanwhile, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has been arrested. Today on Saturday, he will be produced before the SEM court. Dipke was taken into custody by the police when he was on his way to participate in the tricolor march.

Following her detention by Delhi Police, CJP had stated that the whereabouts of its founder Abhijeet Dipke were unknown. Earlier, the All India Students Association (AISA) had claimed that its president Neha Bora had been traced and she was found at the RK Puram police station after hours of uncertainty regarding her location.

What did Neha say after her release?

After being released, Neha Bora said that law and order is being flouted in every possible way. Ordinary citizens are treated as if they're dreaded criminals. This trend has been going on in this country for a long time. The current movement has made it clear how people are being detained. Whether it's day or evening, they're kept in custody all night and released only the next morning or evening. Under what right can this be justified? Under which law or order is it justified to keep detained people locked up all night?

She further stated that legally, people, especially women, should be released after sunset, but this isn't happening. What's more, a new narrative is being spread of anarchy and disorder. What kind of anarchy and disorder? The same kind that you've spread in central Delhi? The people of Delhi are unable to breathe a sigh of relief. Whichever route they choose to go to work is found blocked. You're spreading anarchy and disorder across the entire country. Please spare the people of India, while impeach Gyanesh Kumar and stop SIR so that the ordinary citizens of this country can breathe a sigh of relief, live in peace, and their voting rights remain protected.

She goes on to say that they (the police) asked me for my name, address, and other details. For a long time, they didn't even let me speak nor allowed me to talk to any legal advisor or lawyer. Our lawyers tried for five to six hours to contact me; when we somehow called them, only then were they permitted to meet me. These people have been indulging in such acts for a long time.

What allegations did AISA and CJP make?

AISA said in a post on the social media platform X, why did Delhi Police keep Neha at the police station until midnight? When will Neha be released? Why is a woman student leader being kept at the police station in the middle of the night? Meanwhile, CJP alleged that its founder Abhijeet Dipke has been taken to an unknown location and the organization has lost contact with him, while earlier, AISA had claimed that its president Neha Bora was kept in the Anti-Narcotics Task Force cell located in South-West Delhi. CJP said in a post on X that Delhi Police has taken Abhijeet Dipke to an unknown location. We've lost contact with him. He isn't being allowed to talk to lawyers.

Treating youth like terrorists

CJP said why does this government treat the youth like terrorists? We're equal rights citizens of India and are entitled to all the protections and rights under the Constitution! CJP questioned, Delhi Police, where have you taken Abhijeet? You will have to give us an answer. Abhijeet had stepped out of his house holding the tricolor flag. How can walking with the tricolor be a crime?

Thousands of Abhijeet Dipkes will rise

The post stated that if you detain one Abhijeet Dipke, thousands of Abhijeets will stand up. If you put one Saurav in jail, thousands of Sauravs will take to the streets. If you put one Ashutosh in jail, thousands of Ashutosh will reach Delhi. The tricolor is our life, the tricolor is our pride. No one can stop us.

Former AISA president N Sai Balaji said, Delhi Police, please answer why Neha Bora was detained alone in a bus by people in plain clothes? Her last known location shows that she was taken to the Anti-Narcotics Task Force cell located in Mangolpuri. Then why is the police station saying that she isn't there?

Detained by Delhi Police from Mandi House

He questioned whether Delhi Police is trying to kidnap and arrest her. CPI(M) Rajya Sabha member John Brittas said that an AISA representative told him that Neha Bora was detained by Delhi Police from Mandi House while she was on her way to participate in the 'Lehra Do Tricolour' protest. Brittas wrote on X that Neha was taken alone and didn't even have her phone with her, while cJP Head of Legal Affairs Ratna Singh also demanded to know the whereabouts of Abhijeet Dipke and Neha Bora. According to police sources, Dipke was detained from Jhandewalan and Neha from Mandi House.
