Minor boy allegedly sexually assaulted by 35 year-old woman in MP threatened by her husband and in laws

Crime: A 35-year-old woman sexually assaulted a 16-year-old boy in Madhya Pradesh. Police in Rajgarh district said that not only did the woman sexually abuse the child, but the woman's husband and mother-in-law also threatened to implicate the child in the rape case. The police have arrested the accused woman and her family.

While the Rajgarh police has arrested the woman under section 5/6 of the POCSO Act, the husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law have been arrested under sections 384 and 427.

Rajgarh SP Pradeep Sharma said, 'The woman sexually assaulted a minor boy living in her own village twice. 27 Nai got to know about this woman's husband and mother-in-law. He demanded Rs 1 lakh from the boy's family and also threatened to implicate him in the fake rape case. When the boy's family refused to give the money, the woman's husband and father-in-law cut down the papaya trees in her field.

Disturbed by this, the minor boy informed Rajgarh Child Line. Childline Rajgarh counselor Manish Dangi counseled the boy and informed the police on Monday.

Dangi told, 'The minor boy was in depression due to this whole incident. He was afraid of slander, so he did not tell this thing to anyone. When the woman's family started harassing her family, the boy gathered courage and informed us. We are still counseling him.
