A sensational murder case has come to light from the Welcome police station area of North East Delhi, where a youth was shot dead late at night. The incident occurred near Keshav Chowk, causing widespread panic in the locality. The deceased has been identified as Amanullah Qureshi, a resident of Gurudwara Mohalla in the Maujpur area. According to reports, the victim was targeted while he was traveling on his scooty, and the attackers fired multiple rounds at him from close range.

The incident took place during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. Amanullah Qureshi was heading towards Shahdara on his scooty when he reached Keshav Chowk, while it's reported that the assailants were already lying in wait for him. As soon as he arrived at the spot, the gunmen intercepted him and opened fire indiscriminately. Eyewitnesses stated that the attackers fired several rounds at the youth from a very close distance, causing him to collapse on the road with severe injuries. The sound of gunfire triggered chaos in the area, and a large crowd gathered at the spot shortly after the incident.
Medical Response and Police Action
Local residents immediately informed the police about the shooting. Upon receiving the information, a police team reached the site and rushed the injured youth to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital.
