Severe Consequences for Offenders
The new legislation introduces very harsh penalties for those found guilty of leaking question papers. The bill provides for a prison sentence of up to 10 years and a fine of up to 50 lakh rupees. By implementing such severe punishments, the government aims to eliminate the influence of paper mafias.
