United States President Donald Trump has Importantly intensified his administration's global military and diplomatic stance, placing approximately one in every 13 countries across the globe on the American radar. Since assuming office for his second term, the Trump administration has already conducted military operations or strikes against several nations, while issuing severe warnings and threats of destruction to many others. This aggressive posture has raised concerns internationally as the list of targeted nations continues to grow, encompassing a total of 15 countries that are either currently under fire or facing the prospect of American intervention.

Countries Already Under Military Action

According to reports, the United States has already carried out military strikes or attacks on seven different nations during Trump's second term. These countries include Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. The military engagement with Iran has been particularly intense, with the US military launching attacks against Iranian targets twice within the past year alone. These actions demonstrate a shift toward direct kinetic involvement in various regions, spanning the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

The Growing List of Threatened Nations

Beyond the countries that have already faced physical attacks, President Trump has issued explicit threats or warnings to a diverse group of eight additional nations, while this list includes Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland (which is a territory of Denmark), Palestine, Mexico, Panama, and Oman. When combined with the countries already attacked, a total of 15 nations are now considered to be on the US radar. The nature of these threats varies, ranging from diplomatic lessons to warnings of total destruction, as seen in the most recent case involving Oman.

The Strategic Conflict with Oman

The most recent escalation involves Oman, a key Gulf nation that was historically considered a close ally of the United States. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Oman, stating that if the country doesn't improve its conduct, it will be completely destroyed. The friction between the two nations stems from Oman's refusal to support the United States during its conflict with Iran. Despite Oman's strategic location on the edge of the Strait of Hormuz, it maintained a neutral or non-cooperative stance toward US objectives, which resulted in Iran refraining from attacking Oman.

On top of that, the US administration is displeased with Oman's recent economic directives. The Omani government recently instructed its officials to engage in trade with Iran, asserting that such commercial ties are permissible. Adding to the tension, Iran and Oman are reportedly collaborating on a new protocol for the Strait of Hormuz. Under this proposed protocol, Iran would collect an environmental tax from ships passing through the strait. This growing friendship and cooperation between Iran and Oman regarding the control of the Strait of Hormuz have put the United States on the backfoot, prompting the aggressive rhetoric from President Trump.

Preparedness for Strikes Against Cuba

In addition to the situation in the Gulf, the US military is reportedly preparing for potential action against Cuba. According to Politico magazine, the Pentagon has already finalized a plan for a military strike on the island nation. This plan has been submitted to President Trump and is currently under consideration. Should the President give the order, the US military is prepared to launch air strikes against Cuba immediately.

The urgency of this plan was highlighted during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, where Secretary of State Marco Rubio characterized Cuba as a significant threat. Rubio argued that the current instability within Cuba, located in close proximity to the United States, poses a direct risk to American security. The administration views the situation in Cuba as a volatile factor that necessitates a prepared military response to ensure the safety of the United States.
