When the police reached the spot to control the situation, the mob attacked the police as well. After which there was a clash between the people of the Muslim community and the police. Anti-social elements attacked the Majewadi police station. Four policemen including DSP, PSI were injured in this attack. Not only this, a government vehicle was also set on fire by the mob.
