Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje became emotional during a public gathering in Jhalawar on Saturday. The incident occurred at the Mukteshwar Temple in Khoyra village, where she had arrived to flag off the third phase of the 'Jan Samvad Padyatra' led by Member of Parliament Dushyant Singh, while raje was seen wiping away tears on stage as a local resident recited a poem about her life and family legacy.

The emotional scene unfolded when Aditi Sharma, a young woman from Bakani, recited a poem highlighting Raje's family history, her governance style, and her political journey. According to witnesses, the verses deeply moved the former Chief Minister. Addressing the crowd later in a choked voice, Raje stated that she could never forget the contributions of her parents and brother in her life, adding that their absence leaves a void.
Tribute to Family Legacy
During her speech, Raje paid tribute to her mother Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, father Jiwajirao Scindia, and brother Madhavrao Scindia. She mentioned that although they're no longer present, she finds their reflection in the love and support she receives from the public. She emphasized that her connection with the people of Jhalawar transcends politics and is rooted in a deep-seated emotional bond.

Raje remarked that for her, public affection is far more valuable than material wealth. She described herself as an emotional person who prioritizes the love of the people above all else, while according to the former CM, while times and circumstances change, the bond she shares with the public remains constant. She reiterated that the entire Jhalawar district, including Bakani, is like a family to her.

The former Chief Minister officially flagged off the third phase of Dushyant Singh's Jan Samvad Padyatra in Bakani. She assured the gathering that any issues raised during the four-day march would be addressed promptly.
