IPL 2021 / 11 England Cricketers Including Captain Eoin Morgan Stayed In India

IPL 2021: The Tests, T20s and the subsequent ODI series between India and England have also ended. There was a tough competition between the two teams but the Indian team was the winner in all three formats. In the three-match ODI series, the England team landed with a total of 17 players, including three backups. Among them, there were 14 players who were part of the playing eleven in different matches. But now after the end of the series, there are 11 players who have stayed in India and will now return home after playing the IPL. These England players have moved from the bilateral series bubble to the IPL bubble and have joined their respective franchises.

Rajasthan Royals:

Three star players of England series will play for Rajasthan team. These include the names of Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes and Liam Livingstone and all three cricketers have joined the franchise.

Delhi Capitals:

Two English players are associated with the Delhi team, Tom Karan and Sam Billings.

Chennai Super Kings:

Moin Ali and Sam Karan have joined Dhoni-led Chennai, who have performed brilliantly in different matches of the bilateral series.

Punjab Kings:

David Malan and Chris Jordan, who performed brilliantly in the series against India, will play for Punjab.

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

England opener Johnny Bairstow, who was the man of the series in the ODI series, is associated with the Sunrisers Hyderabad team.

Kolkata Knight Riders:

England captain Eoin Morgan, who got injured in the first ODI and did not play the remaining two matches, has joined the Kolkata team. In the IPL, KKR will also be commanded by Morgan.

Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore are two teams that do not include a single England cricketer. Talk about the IPL 2021 event, it will start from April 9 with the match of Bangalore and Mumbai in Chennai.
