Palval. The friendship on Facebook became costly to a woman when she called her friend to meet her at Hodal from where the victim was kidnapped and 25 people gang-raped her overnight. When the victim's health deteriorated, the accused escaped leaving her in the car at the Badarpur border. Hasanpur police station has registered a case against three named and 20-22 other accused on the complaint of the victim and arrested one of the accused. The rest of the accused are currently absconding.Let me tell you that big claims are made by the government regarding the safety of women. Not only this, women police stations are also open in every district of the state, despite this, abusive crimes against women are not coming down. The latest case is in the Hasanpur police station area of Palwal where a young woman was kidnapped from the hostel and 25 people gang-raped the victim in turn. Hasanpur police station in-charge Rajesh Kumar said that in a complaint given by a woman, her friend Ramgarh resident Sagar called Hodal to meet her family members for marriage on May 3, and she came to Hodal.Instead of taking him home from Hodal, Sagar took him to a tubewell in the forest near Ramgarh village where his brother Samudra and 20–22 youths arrived. The victim has alleged that the said youth forcibly took her from there into the forest and all raped her throughout the night. Then in the morning, Akash took him near the village to Akash Kabari, where Akash and his 5-6 friends also raped him collectively. After which she was not able to walk, Sagar and her three friends escaped leaving her in the train at Badarpur border.The woman has said in the complaint that from the same day she was lying in the bed, when it was able to move, she complained to the Hasanpur police station on May 12. Hasanpur police have arrested the accused Sagar on various complaints including kidnapping and gang rape against 22 other youths, including Sagar, Samudra and Akash, on the complaint of the girl late night of May 12. The rest of the accused are absconding, whose efforts are underway to arrest them.
