KUSHINAGAR ACCIDENT / 30 people fell in the well during the wedding ceremony, 13 including children drowned

A heart-wrenching news is coming from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. Here last Wednesday night at 10.00 pm the slab placed on the well broke and 30 people fell down. In this accident, 11 people including children, women, youth have died due to falling in the well. It is being told that at the time of the incident, these people were celebrating the Haldi ceremony of a family member and watching the dance. As soon as the information was received, the force of many police stations reached there and people were taken out after starting the rescue operation.

Arrived near the well for the matkod ceremony

The case is of Naurangiya of the said police station area. Here the son of Parameshwar Kushwaha, a resident of School Tola, is to be married on Thursday. For this, the turmeric ritual was being completed and everyone went to the well for the matkod ritual. Along with the elders, the children also went. The children started watching the dance by climbing the slab on the big well. During this suddenly the slab broke and people fell into the well. After this there was chaos and people ran near the well.

13 people admitted to the hospital declared dead

According to the information, along with the police, the local people also took out the people by participating in the rescue operation. It took about 1.5 hours. By then many people had lost their lives. 9 injured were rushed to the hospital, but the doctor declared them brought dead. At the same time, 2 children were admitted to Kotwa, they also died.

Everyone stunned by the incident

According to the information given by the doctors, 10 people between 5 and 25 years old and two women have died. Rest of the injured are undergoing treatment. DM S Rajalingam and SP Sachindra Patel told the media that everyone is shocked by such an incident. Now the negligence is being investigated.

CM Yogi expressed grief

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the deaths in this accident in Kushinagar's Naurangiya police station area. The CM has directed the officials of the district administration to provide all possible help along with relief and rescue work immediately.
