Baghdad. At least 35 people have been killed in a suicide bombing in Iraq's Sadar city. More than 60 people have been injured during this. The blast took place in a market on Monday evening. The market was very crowded as it was Eid on Tuesday. That's why the terrorist chose this place.

Terrorist organization ISIS has claimed responsibility for this attack through Telegram. IS says that one of its terrorists blew himself up in the middle of the crowd. Sources in the news agency Reuters say the death toll in the attack could rise as many of the injured remain in critical condition.

After this attack, Iraq's Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi called an emergency meeting of security commanders. President Barham Saleh said via social media that with a heinous crime, some people want to target civilians in the city of Sadar before Eid. We will not rest until terrorism is rooted out.

Let us tell you that in April this year, there was an explosion in a car in a market in Sadar city of Iraq. Four people were killed and 20 were injured in the blast. IS also took the responsibility of this attack
