Bollywood | A complaint has been filed against Aamir Khan's film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' and Taapsee Pannu's film 'Shabaash Mithu' for allegedly making fun of the differently-abled. This case has been registered in the court of Chief Commissioner for Divyangjan. Dr. Satyendra Singh, co-founder of Doctors with Disabilities, has filed a complaint and shared the court's notice on his complaint.

Comment sought from CBFC and Central Ministry

However, according to this, no confirmation has come from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on this whole matter. Based on the information shown in the notice in a report by Zoom TV, the court of Commissioner for the Disabled has sought comments from both the films, CBFC and the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on this entire matter.

Disrespect done in films

The complaint alleged that the film violates the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. According to the complaint, derogatory words have been used for Divyang in the film. Let us tell you that Aamir Khan's film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' has already flopped badly due to the boycott.

Both the movies flopped at the box office

Taapsee Pannu's film Shabasha Mithu also did not show anything special at the box office. Both the films proved to be miserably flops. Although Aamir Khan was seen telling people all the time that his film should not be boycotted, but due to various reasons, people boycotted the film.
