News agency ANI quoted Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur as saying that the Dadasaheb Phalke Award will be given to famous actress Asha Parekh this year. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1992 for his services to cinema.
