Air India News: Tata Group's airline company Air India will get a new aircraft every six days for the next 18 months. Air India Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) Campbell Wilson said on Friday that the company has placed an order for a total of 470 aircraft. According to Bhasha news, he said in the 67th meeting of the Presidents of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines that we have new aircraft.

The airline is making vigorous preparations

According to the news, the CEO said that we are recruiting many new crew and employees. The training system of employees is being improved. There is still more work to do and we are making good progress. CEO of Air India said that most of the customers of Air India want reliability and punctuality, and the challenge before us is to meet the needs of the customers.

New aircraft are being deployed as international flights

Wilson also clarified that the new aircraft are being deployed as international flights. With this, most of the stalled aircraft have been brought into service. He said Tata-owned Air India has placed an order for 470 aircraft to serve the Indian economy growing at a cumulative annual growth rate (CAGR) of eight percent and in the next 18 months. There is a preparation to acquire a new aircraft every six days.

Confident of increasing traffic

Wilson also expressed confidence in competing with other airlines and increasing traffic for Air India. Air India is the airline company with the largest international flights network among the domestic airline companies. In the coming time, the company is planning to provide a new experience and service to the passengers by increasing the number of aircraft in its fleet.
