BJP vs INC: Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah launched the Garib Kalyan Maha Abhiyan in Bhopal on Sunday. Along with this, he also presented the report card of 20 years of BJP government in the state. On this occasion, Amit Shah targeted the Congress and said that the Congress should give the account of its rule in MP. We brought MP in the category of developed states for 20 years. The BJP has called a meeting of the "Brihad Pradesh Working Committee" in Gwalior today itself, in which Shah is also going to attend.Without naming former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, Amit Shah said, “In the year 2003, the people of Madhya Pradesh took a historic decision by removing the government of Mr. Bantadhar and formed the BJP government. Then the BJP government did the work of liberating Madhya Pradesh from the word Bimaru. In the last 20 years Madhya Pradesh has emerged as “Developed Madhya Pradesh”. In these 20 years, work has been done to lay the foundation of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.Congress should give account of 53 years: Amit Shah
He further said that Madhya Pradesh, which was once considered to be divided, is today touching the heights of development like other states. In these two decades, by strengthening many basic systems like electricity, roads, water and education in the state, the BJP government has established new dimensions of development in the state.Seeking answers from the former Congress Chief Ministers about their rule, Amit Shah said, “I want to tell the Congress leaders not to mislead the public by talking here and there, but to read this report card of the development of Madhya Pradesh. Reply. The pair of Mr. Bantadhar and Kamal Nath should account for the 53 years of the Congress government.Shah further said, “The next election is the election of complete freedom from poverty. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has done the work of putting the public welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the ground in a better way. I express my gratitude to the 9.5 crore people of Madhya Pradesh for blessing BJP.We made MP self-sufficient in 20 years: ShahAttacking the Congress government, Amit Shah said, “Madhya Pradesh was formed in 1956, since then Congress ruled for almost 53 years except for a few years. Today, those who have been questioning the development done during the tenure of the BJP government, should first give an account of their 53 years of rule. In the Congress government, Madhya Pradesh got the title of Bimaru state. Madhya Pradesh did not even develop during his reign. He further said that in 20 years we have done the work of laying the foundation to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant. The one which was once called Bimaru state is becoming unmatched. What used to be considered backward in everything is today considered ahead in development.Earlier, on the occasion of the release of the report card of 20 years, the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “There used to be a time when MP was a sick state. But today we have got freedom from it. The development of the double engine government in the state has created new dimensions. He further said that whether it is a network of roads or a matter related to irrigation, a miracle has happened here. I don't need to tell. MP is progressing double with the guidance of PM Modi. MP gained momentum after 2014. PM Modi left no stone unturned in the development of MP.CM Shivraj said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is continuously moving forward at double the speed. In this era of freedom, Prime Minister Modi has taken a pledge to make India a prosperous country in the world by 2047, Madhya Pradesh will leave no stone unturned to fulfill this resolution.
