Election Commission removed 3 observers

The Election Commission has taken strict action against laxity in election duty. The Commission removed three observers - two general observers and one expenditure observer - from duties. The Election Commission decided to remove these officials from duty on charges of misconduct and violation of the observer's code of conduct. The removed general observers were posted in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The expenditure observer was posted to Mizoram.
