Mumbai: Almost every Bollywood celebrity is fond of luxury cars and Arjun Kapoor is no exception. The actor, who already has a vast range of luxury vehicles, has added another premium car to the list. According to reports, Arjun Kapoor recently took the delivery of Land Rover Defender; the actor got himself Land Rover Defender 110 First Edition in Pangea Green colour. This luxury SUV retails between ₹89.59 lakh to ₹95.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India), depending upon the engine option. But guessing how Arjun Kapoor loves fast cars, we believe he purchased the more powerful variant. In case you didn't know, the actor already owns cars like Masetari Levante, Audi Q5, and Honda CR-V.

The new-generation Land Rover Defender was launched in India last year. It is underpinned by an all-new platform -- D7X -- which is the stiffest chassis the carmaker has ever engineered. And though the new model sports an old-school boxy silhouette, it gets plenty of modern design elements like alpine light mounted on the roof, redesigned headlamps and tail lights, and a new design for the grille. The new generation Defender is quite feature-rich as compared to the predecessor. It gets provisions like a 10-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system with over-the-air updates, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster that can be personalised to include a full-screen map, phone and media functionality.

The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 296 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. However, there's also a 3.0-litre petrol engine on offer which puts out 394 bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque. All the engines are offered in combination with an eight-speed automatic transmission. To take on uncharted terrain, the Defender gets a permanent all-wheel-drive system with a twin-speed automatic gearbox, central differential, active locking rear differential (optional), and electronic aids like configurable Terrain Response system.
