JAMMU AND KASHMIR / Army helicopter crashes in Bandipora, accident near LoC

An Army helicopter crashed on Friday in Tulail area of ​​Gurez in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. Officials said that an army helicopter was on patrol in Gujran Nala area of ​​Gurez Valley. It crashed due to a sudden fault.

After this the rescue operation has been started. Sources said that the identity of the pilot and the co-pilot is being ascertained. The pilot and co-pilot are believed to have ejected safely but the authorities did not give any information about this.

SDM Gurez said that the helicopter had lost contact before the accident. The reasons are being ascertained.
