As soon as the stock market opened on Friday, the last trading day of the week, there was a ruckus. For the last three days, the brakes were put on the continued growth in trading. The BSE Sensex lost 650 points at the beginning of trading and opened at 58,275 level. Similarly, the Nifty index of NSE also started trading with a fall of 192 points at 17,413 level.

Earlier on Thursday, after the announcement of the results of the Reserve Bank of India's MPC meeting, there was a jump in the stock market and this rally continued till the end of trading. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange closed at 58,926 with a gain of 460 points. At the same time, the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange also closed at the level of 17,606, taking a strong rise of 142 points.
