IPL 2021 / Australian players could be available for IPL 2021 second phase in UAE

IPL 2021 | Most of the players of the Australian team will be seen playing in the second phase of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League to be held in the UAE. According to reports, big names like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins can be seen giving strength to their team in the remaining matches of IPL 2021. The BCCI took the decision to postpone IPL 2021 on 4 May after several players were found to be Corona positive. After which now the remaining 31 matches of the tournament are to be played in UAE from 19 September.

According to the news of 'Cricbuzz', players like Pat Cummins, Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Marcus Stoinis, Daniel Sams will be available for the second phase of the league. Several players of the Australian team have withdrawn from the West Indies tour citing personal reasons. Players like Maxwell, Stoinis, Sams are going to miss West Indies tour. Earlier, while giving information, an official of the IPL franchise had told that New Zealand players will be available for the remaining matches of IPL 2021. He had said, 'We are quite alive now. The BCCI is in talks with the English and Australian boards regarding this. The IPL usually takes place in May and April, so the cricket board's objection is justified, but we are sure that the New Zealand players will be seen in action.

The BCCI is in talks with all the cricket boards for the second phase of IPL 2021 to be held in the UAE. However, the England Cricket Board has already made it clear that the players of the England team will not be available for the remaining matches of the league and will focus all their attention on the T20 World Cup. BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla announced the dates for the remaining matches of IPL 2021 to be held in UAE. He had told that the second phase of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League will start from 19 September and the final match will be played on 15 October.
