Kane Williamson number one batsman in ICC test rankings

In the ranking of batsmen in Tests released by the ICC, New Zealand's Kane Williamson continues to hold the number one position. His rating is 864. England's Joe Root still remains in second place with a rating of 832. Steve Smith is in third place with a rating of 818. That means there has been no change in the top 3 in the ranking, but after this drastic changes are being seen.

Babar Azam took a big jump, Virat Kohli also gained one place

In the latest ICC rankings, New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell has moved up one place to number four. His rating is 786. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam, meanwhile, has gained five places. He has now become the number five batsman with a rating of 768. Whereas India's Virat Kohli is just below him. Virat Kohli did not play the first match of the Test series being played between India and England, yet he has got a jump of one place. He has now managed to reach number six with a rating of 767.

Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head suffered losses

Australia's Usman Khawaja has jumped two places to number seven with a rating of 765. Harry Brook of England also has the same rating i.e. 765. That's why he is also at number seven. Sri Lanka's Damuth Karunaratne has gained three places. He is at number nine with a rating of 747. Australia's Marnus Labuschagne has slipped six places. His rating is now 746. He is at tenth position. That means he still remains in the top 10. Australia's Travis Head has also lost six places to 11th place with a rating of 741. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma has dropped one place to 12th position. His rating is now 729.
