BAN vs NZ | Bangladesh won the first test match against New Zealand by eight wickets. New Zealand have to face defeat for the first time against Bangladesh on their own soil. The biggest hero of Bangladesh's victory was Ebadat Hossain, who took six wickets in the second innings. On the strength of Ebadat's superb bowling, New Zealand's team could only score 169 runs in the second innings. Bangladesh achieved the target of 40 runs for the win by losing two wickets. After this, the Kiwi team was completely on the back foot. Kyle Jamieson, Rachin, Tim Southee and Trent Boult went back to the pavilion one by one. The entire team was bundled out for 169 runs. Will Young was the best scorer in the second innings for New Zealand, who scored 69 runs, while the rest of the batsmen could not even score 100 runs together.
