IND vs NZ / Big tension in front of Rohit in Dharamshala - Team India will change

IND vs NZ: The Indian team has shown a brilliant performance so far in the ODI World Cup-2023. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, has played four matches so far and has won all four. But now Team India faces New Zealand on Sunday. From that New Zealand which has hurt India every time in ICC events. Before the New Zealand match, Rohit is facing a playing-11 crisis and this crisis is because Hardik Pandya got injured in the last match against Bangladesh.

This is the same New Zealand that defeated India in the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup. Rohit will try to ensure that New Zealand does not spoil his team's work, but the challenge in front of Rohit has increased because the team has suffered a big loss due to Pandya's absence.

What will Rohit do now?

The challenge before Rohit is who should he play in place of Pandya because with his departure the entire balance of the team has been disturbed. With his presence, the team had six bowling options and depth in batting as well, but now the team does not have a fast bowling all-rounder like Pandya. In such a situation, Rohit will have to go with only five bowling options. In such a situation, Suryakumar Yadav may get a chance in the playing-11. Due to the absence of Pandya, the team will have to strengthen its batting and hence Suryakumar's entry into the team seems certain. Here India will have to field with only five bowlers.

Thakur or Shami

There is a possibility of another change in the team. Shardul Thakur is not in his form and he has proved to be very expensive for Team India. Mohammed Shami can come in his place, who has not played a single match in this World Cup yet. But it will not be surprising if Rohit gives Thakur another chance and the reason for this could be that Thakur can also contribute with the bat.
