The ministers of his government have got full freedom to indulge in corruption. Significantly, the minister of Mamata Banerjee government, Partha Chatterjee is facing charges in the recruitment scam. Last evening, more than 20 crores were recovered from the house of one of his associate Arpita. At the same time, Arpita has also been arrested in this case today. Many other associates of Partha Chatterjee are also on the target of the central agency.

Earlier, during the press conference at the BJP headquarters, Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar targeted Mamta Banerjee fiercely. He said that in the ED raids, an amount of more than 21 crores has been recovered from the aide of the TMC minister. At the same time, a few days ago, Mamta had praised the work of this minister. He said that now he understood what good work he had praised for the minister. Rajeev Chandrashekhar said that illegal assets worth one lakh crore have been brought to the fore by the ED and other central agencies in West Bengal so far. At the same time, BJP MP and former West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh also made allegations against TMC leaders. He said that TMC leaders have made a lot of money in the last few years through various means including recruitment. Dilip Ghosh raised the question that how is it possible that the party supremo is not aware of this. He said that on the basis of whatever evidence has been received, questions should also be asked from the top leadership.
