In Maharashtra, the BJP has made preparations to use the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to take on the Shiv Sena. After several rounds of talks, an agreement has been reached between the two parties. It can be announced on June 14. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has also given green signal to the alliance. BJP sources said that all the hurdles related to the alliance have been removed.

BJP will give some seats to MNS in Mumbai and Pune. In the rest of the state, the BJP will contest the elections on its own. The last important meeting in this context was held on April 21. Sangh people were also present in this. In this meeting, an in-principle agreement was reached on the alliance. Some other questions including seat-sharing will be decided later. For this, there will be some more meetings between the two parties.

A sign from the praise of Yogi...

These days MNS chief Raj Thackeray is attacking the Mahavikas Aghadi government over loudspeakers installed at religious places in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has said to take a decision in the matter at the central government level. Criticizing it, Raj praised the state's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with the decision taken by the Uttar Pradesh government in this regard.

The MNS chief tweeted, "I wholeheartedly congratulate the Yogi government for removing loudspeakers from religious places, especially mosques. I completely stand with him in his decision. Unfortunately there is no yogi in Maharashtra. We have only the power holders. I pray to God to give them wisdom.

Things have been getting worse with Shiv Sena...

In fact, the BJP wants to play the role of elder brother in the state which is not acceptable to Shiv Sena. In the midst of a bitter-soft relationship, both the parties had formed an alliance in the last Lok Sabha elections. In the last assembly elections also, both the parties were together. However, after the results came, Shiv Sena was adamant about the chief minister's post and later broke the alliance and joined hands with the Congress-NCP. Uddhav Thackeray is leading this government as the Chief Minister.
