In Uttar Pradesh, where a total of 230 people were arrested in different districts, in Saharanpur and Kanpur, bulldozers were also carried out at the houses of the accused. In West Bengal, the administration claimed to have arrested 70 people. Here two officers of the violence-hit Howrah district were also transferred. Internet was snapped in some parts of Howrah and Murshidabad. On the other hand, Section 144 remained in force in the violence-affected areas in Jharkhand as well. Apart from this, additional forces were also deployed here in different parts of the capital Ranchi. At the same time, internet services have been suspended till tomorrow morning.

230 arrested in UP

After Friday prayers, the UP Police has taken a big action in the case of riots across the state. Police have arrested 230 people from many districts including Prayagraj, Hathras, Saharanpur. Apart from this, the police have run bulldozers on the houses of the rioters in Saharanpur. The police took bulldozer action at the house of two miscreants here. In Kanpur too, a bulldozer has run at the house of Hayat Zafar's relative. In a statement issued here, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said, 230 people have been arrested in this regard in UP. This includes people from 68 in Prayagraj, 50 in Hathras, 48 ​​in Saharanpur, 28 in Ambedkarnagar, 25 in Moradabad and eight in Firozabad and three other places. Meanwhile, in a veiled warning to the perpetrators of violence, Mrutyunjay Kumar, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister of UP, in a tweet on Saturday said, remember the rioters, every Friday is followed by a Saturday….

Strict instructions of CM Yogi

Kumar also tweeted a picture of a bulldozer demolishing a building along with his tweet. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while issuing instructions to the officials on Saturday, said, "Sternest action will be taken against the anti-social elements involved in the chaotic efforts to spoil the atmosphere in various cities of the state in the past." There is no place for such anti-social people in a civilized society. Keep in mind that no innocent is harassed, but not a single guilty one remains. It is worth mentioning that in several districts including Prayagraj and Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh, people raised slogans and stone pelting after Friday prayers over alleged objectionable remarks of Suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammad.

Bulldozer ran to the house of two miscreants in Saharanpur

The police and the local administration bulldozer demolished the houses of Muzammil son Asmat, resident of Rahat Colony of Kotwali countryside area and Abdul Walker son Vilaal, resident of Khata Khedi village.
