5G in India : The wait for 5G services for Indian users is over and they have been officially launched. Reliance Jio will soon give the benefit of its 5G network to the users and is also working on a cheap 5G-ready smartphone. The company had told at the 45th AGM that it is working with Google on a new device. Now many details related to JioPhone 5G have come to the fore.

It is expected that Jio's 5G smartphone will be launched in the market at a very low price and will be launched for those users who are not upgrading to 5G devices due to the high cost. The company did this even after the launch of 4G services in India and its JioPhone models became increasingly popular. The new device can prove to be helpful in increasing the 5G userbase.

Information from leaked firmware report

91Mobiles has quoted a leaked firmware report that the codename of Jio's new phone is 'Ganga' and its model number is LS1654QB5. Jio will launch this device in partnership with LYF. A 6.5-inch HD + LCD screen can be found in the smartphone with 90Hz high refresh-rate. The device can get Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB storage.

Dual camera setup will be available on the rear panel

Dual camera system can be found on the rear panel in JioPhone 5H, in which apart from 12MP primary sensor, 2MP secondary lens can be found. 8MP front camera can be found in the phone for selfie and video calls. The company can launch this smartphone with Android 12 based software. WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity can also be available in the phone.

This may be the price of the new Jio phone

Talking about the price of the new JioPhone, it will be made a part of the segment priced below Rs 12,000. A recent report by Counterpoint Research states that the price of this device could be between Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,000. It is possible that Jio may give users the option to buy it at an even lower price and in return they may be given the benefit of 5G plans.
