By News Helpline – Mumbai | And it is here, the first official trailer of much awaited satirical comic caper Bala, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the leading roles.
The film is made under Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, which dropped the trailer on digital platform. They captioned it, “Baal kaisa hai janaab ka? Bala is a quirky comedy revolving around real-life situation, a balding man trying to land the girl of his dreams. Despite being a good locking man, Bala is facing the issue of pre-mature balding and that situation has not only impacted his self-confidence but also dating life and relationship with other people. The film is quirky yet relatable, hilarious yet realistic.
Bala’s family members try different tactics to grow his hair back, the trailer gets more and more hilarious, tickling one’s funny bone.
Bhumi Pednekar plays this dark-skinned girl, who is facing the same predicament as Bala. Actress Yami Gautam is someone who gets tricked into marrying Bala, without knowing he is balding.
Bala is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. It also stars Saurabh Shukla, Javed Jaffrey, and Seema Pahwa playing supporting roles.
The film releases on 7th October 2019.
