News Helpline . Mumbai | Actor Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam starrer romantic comedy film ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’ will release on an online streaming platform Netflix on October 9. Along with announcement of the release date of the film, Yami also unveiled peppy dance number ‘LOL’ from the film through her social media accounts.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Sunday, Yami announced release date of her upcoming film, she wrote, “GINNY & SUNNY coming your way on 9th October 💕 #GINNYwedsSUNNY @netflix_in.”
In her second Instagram post, Yami shared the video of ‘LOL’ song from the film, she wrote, “This one’s for all my girls out there! 💃 #LOL from #GinnyWedsSunny is out now. @vikrantmassey87 @soundrya.production @netflix_in @sonymusicindia @bachchan.vinod @payaldevofficial @puneet_khanna @kunaalvermaa @devnegilive @adityadevmusic @sumitaroraa”.
‘Ginny Weds Sunny’ brings Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey together on screen for the first time. The movie’s synopsis suggests that Delhi girl Ginny (Yami Gautam) lives with her matchmaker mother and is set up with Sunny (Vikrant Massey) , who has given up on the idea of love and just wants to get married and settle down. ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’ is directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film is scheduled to release as direct digital release on 9 October 2020 on Netflix.
