Karnataka CM: Siddaramaiah sworn in as Karnataka CM and DK Shivakumar as Deputy CM. After that, the first cabinet meeting of the state was held on Saturday itself. After the meeting, CM and Deputy CM told in the press conference that in the first meeting of the new cabinet of the state, we have taken some important decisions. Keeping in view the trust reposed in us by the people of Karnataka, some special decisions have been taken. We will fulfill the promises we have made.

We do what we say

CM Siddaramaiah said that we have talked about five guarantees to the public and we will fulfill those five guarantees at any cost, no matter what financial burden comes on us for that. In the next cabinet, the financial account of these guarantees will be made public. A decision will also be taken to restart Indira Canteen in the next cabinet meeting. Assembly session will be held on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and pro term speaker will be R V Deshpande, new speaker will be appointed in this session.

CM said that those women whose domicile is of Karnataka will be given free pass in the bus.

The CM said that the opposition has raised the question that the state will go bankrupt, but I assure that our government will implement all these five guarantees for less than what those people have drowned the state in debt. We will take all kinds of steps and I do not think that our government will face any problem in raising Rs 50,000 crore for this purpose in a year.

CM-Deputy CM took oath along with 8 ministers

This is the first press conference after the formation of the government, today I took oath as CM and DK Shivakumar as Deputy Chief Minister along with 8 MLAs. Chief Ministers of states, former Chief Ministers, leaders of opposition parties, MPs from Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and leaders of non-BJP parties came from different parts of the country to congratulate the new government, especially Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and others. Many other important people participated in the ceremony and wished the government.

The CM said that after the formation of the new government, we held the first cabinet meeting, in this meeting mainly the promises we had made in the manifesto were discussed, it is not that all these promises will be fulfilled in one year We had promised to give mainly five guarantees to the public out of which they will be completed in 5 years. We had promised the public that these 5 guarantees would be passed in the cabinet already and orders would be issued in this regard.

The people of the opposition party are saying that the state will drown in debt, the treasury of the state will be empty, the Congress party will not be able to fulfill these promises, the Prime Minister himself has said these things in his Mann Ki Baat programme.
