PSL 2024 / Complete schedule of PSL revealed, tournament will be played in these four cities

PSL 2024: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the complete schedule for Pakistan Super League 2024 on Friday, January 12. The ninth season of T20 franchise cricket will begin on February 17 and the final will be played on March 18 at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will take on Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United in the first match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Last season's runners-up Multan Sultans will begin their campaign against Karachi Kings at home on February 18.

Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi will face Sarfaraz Ahmed's Quetta Gladiators in their first match. Four venues Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Rawalpindi will host the tournament while the National Bank Stadium will host the play-offs and finals. Regarding the tournament, PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf said that the upcoming tournament will promote cricket at the grassroots level and provide exciting action.

Zaka Ashraf said, “We are delighted to announce that the ninth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League is set to begin on 17th February, showcasing the best of T20 cricket across four cities across Pakistan. We believe that hosting matches at these venues not only adds excitement to the fans but also promotes cricket at the grassroots level. As we are getting ready for this wonderful event.
