Congress has high hopes from South India

After the victory of Karnataka, Congress has increased its expectations from South India. The way Congress is seen returning in the political battle of Rajasthan. The high command and party strategists are feeling the same momentum in Telangana. On July 2, Congress is going to hold a big rally in Khammam, Telangana, from where Rahul Gandhi will start the election campaign. In January this year, KCR had organized a big rally from Khammam itself.

Congress support against KCR

Once considered a stronghold of the Congress, this district is adjacent to the border of Andhra Pradesh. The political message given from here reaches not only Telangana but also the Telugu people of Andhra. In the recent by-election on one seat, TRS defeated Congress with the support of Left parties. But now the Left in the bouquet of opposition will have to support the Congress against KCR.

Preparing to stand against BRS

For example, Uddhav, Akhilesh Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Sharad Pawar, Mamta Banerjee and D Raja of Telangana CM KCR have better relations with everyone. But KCR backed out of the opposition alliance because of Rahul Gandhi. In such a situation, in order to give the message of opposition unity, the Congress has prepared to pit all these leaders against the BRS leaving aside personal relations.

Foolproof plan to isolate Kejriwal

At the same time, there is a foolproof plan to isolate Kejriwal who is seeking seat share in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh due to excessive ambition. In fact, the Congress is of the opinion that just as it is ready to fight against the BJP by standing with Akhilesh Yadav in UP, the rest of the parties will also have to do the same. In a state where the Congress is the main opposition, other parties will have to cooperate. In such a situation, be it Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh, the opposition unity will have to stand in support of the Congress.

But the excessive ambition of the Aam Aadmi Party, which has faced the allegation of being the B-team of the BJP, will hardly allow it to stand with the Congress. In such a situation, Kejriwal will not only be imprisoned in his created image, but his commitment to opposition unity will also be exposed.
