At least 15 people, along with 4 minors, had been injured on Sunday after an LPG cylinder exploded leading to a minor fire at a shanty in Mumbai’s Dharavi location. All the 15 injured had been rushed to Sion hospital of whom the situation of 5 is stated to be essential having received 70 per cent burn injuries.
According to officers from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the incident was reported from the Shahu Nagar location in Dharavi around 12.20 pm.
A reliable source stated 3 fire engines were rushed to the spot to douse the fire and a cooling operation is underway.
