Terrorists attacked the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmed on Sunday night at Hariparigam in Awantipora area of ​​Pulwama. The terrorists opened fire, in which Special Police Officer Fayaz Ahmed and his wife were killed, while the daughter was seriously injured. After this incident, the security forces have surrounded the entire area and search is on for the terrorists.

Officials said the terrorists entered the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmed at Hariparigam at around 11 pm and opened fire on the family. The family members were taken to a hospital, where the SPO and his wife Raja Begum succumbed, while their daughter Rafia has been shifted to a hospital here for treatment, he said. Earlier, two Air Force personnel were injured in two blasts at the Jammu Air Force Station. The first explosion occurred late Saturday night around 1.40 pm, while the second took place six minutes later.
