Bollywood | Delhi Police's interrogation of Jacqueline Fernandes in money laundering case is over. Police interrogation of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez lasted for about 8 hours. Police had summoned Jacqueline for 29 August and 12 September, but the actress did not reach. A special public prosecutor told the court last month that Jacqueline had not joined the investigation despite being summoned, following which the actress's lawyers assured the court that she would comply with the police summons. Earlier, Jacqueline was questioned by the ED. On Wednesday, Delhi Police spoke to Jacqueline for the first time about the 200 crore fraud committed by conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Delhi Police interrogates Jacqueline

Jacqueline Fernandez was in touch with the conman from February to October 2021. The police had many questions for him. Explain that Delhi Police and ED are investigating the alleged robbery separately. Last month, the ED named Jacqueline as an accused and said that she had received gifts from Chandrashekhar, which he had bought for Rs 200 crore.

Police have arrested jail officials, bankers, private persons in this case who helped Chandrashekhar by smuggling phones or collecting bribe money. Till today, the police had not questioned the actress about this.

It is reported that the Delhi Police has questioned Jacqueline about her relationship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar and the gifts given by her. She was asked how many times she has met Sukesh and how many times the two have spoken on the phone.

What is this whole matter?

Sukesh Chandrashekhar allegedly duped the wife of a Delhi-based businessman to the tune of Rs 215 crore using voice modulation software and spoofing calls. During that time Sukesh was in Delhi jail. Sukesh once extorted money by pretending to be an officer of the Prime Minister's Office, then the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In his phone call, Sukesh had reportedly claimed that he would secure bail for the victim's husband and revive their drug business.

The investigation of this case was going on when some photos of Jacqueline with Sukesh became viral on social media. A close bond was visible between the two in the photos. However, the actress clarified that she has no relation with Sukesh nor was she with him in any of Sukesh's work. At the same time, Sukesh told the ED that both were dating each other.
