HARYANA / Dera chief thrashed servant to death in Jind, body thrown in water tank

The head of Shirdi Dera, Aleva village of Jind, on Friday night, beat up his servant Ramphal, a resident of Popra, with sticks. After this the body was thrown near the water tank near the dera. Aleva police station, who reached the information of the incident, handed over the dead body to the family members after conducting post-mortem at the civil hospital. Police have registered a case of murder against Dera chief Baba Shambhunath and started searching for him.

In the complaint given to the Aleva police station, Dinesh, a resident of Popda village, told that his elder brother Ramphal was a servant of Baba Shambhunath in Shirdi Dera of village Aleva for two months. Baba is a resident of village Titauli in Rohtak district and his real name is Kuldeep.

At present he lived in Aleva. On Friday night, there was an altercation between Ramphal and Baba Shambhunath over some issue. On this, Baba got angry and hit his head and eyes with a stick. When he fell unconscious and Baba fled from there.
